Ironwood Adds San Antonio Stream Mitigation Bank to their Portfolio

Ironwood Resource Advisors is thrilled to include Straus Medina Mitigation Bank to a growing portfolio of Texas projects. This announcement marks a chapter of new stewardship for Straus Medina, the only stream mitigation project in greater San Antonio, and reflects a renewed commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality solutions for stream mitigation in one of Texas’ fastest-growing areas.

This project is strategically positioned to serve Bexar County and surrounding communities including, San Antonio, Boerne, Bulverde, Helotes, and Schertz. Straus Medina encompasses approximately 36,950 linear feet of restored perennial, intermittent and ephemeral streams. Protected in perpetuity, these restored reaches of the Medina River and tributaries improve water quality, wildlife habitat, and flood control for downstream communities.

As rapid development continues across the region, the Straus Medina Mitigation Bank ensures projects efficiently move forward while preserving and enhancing the region’s critical natural resources.
